Wordpress Widget - Your Fun Companion
I am continuing to research on the ways to make wordpress more fun and better for the reading. I have found an exciting development on Wordpress plugin that I would like to share with you today.
It is Wordpress Widget. “Widgets†is just a silly buzzword we’ve chosen for this sidebar-chopping plug-in we have developed. It is none other than a plugin code. However, widget is going to make it easier for you to set up the various component on your wordpress blog. For example, you can set up a calendar, you can set up a Youtube Video, you can set up some photos on the sidebar, you can show some of the top comments, you can make social bookmarking icons easier, you can also show your RSS feed on the blog… etc etc… that’s not the end… It is going to make it more fun for blogging.
However, widget is already built in from wordpress 2.2 onwards, so, if you are using some older version of wordpress, you can either upgrade your wordpress to v2.2 or you will need to install a wordpress widget into your blog to make it work. After which, look for a widget ready theme and you will be able to place your favourite widget on the sidebar.
Would you like to have widget? Well, ok ok… here’s the link:

Have fun…
I am now also testing some of the widget at the moment, I will be sharing some of my favourite widget with you shortly.
