I have participated in some forum and I have seen the traffic is flowing in. Here’s some of the

1. Find a forum of your niche. Go to Google, type in allintitle:Niche & Forum, you can find a few forum of your niche.

2. Select the forum. Before signing up and start participating in forum, make sure it is an active forum before doing the registration. Look at the latest post date and number of users in the forum. Make sure that there are daily posting in the forum, the higher the frequency the better. Preferably to have users level above 100, best if there are more than 1000.

3. Register for the forum once you have selected the forum you like.

• Use a nick name that represent your blog
• Use a Avatar or Photo that present your blog
• Fill in the URL of your blog
• Fill in the feed of your blog, some forum has auto feeding to display title of your latest blog post on forum heading.
• Insert a Catchy Title in your signature about your blog or even deep link to a popular post in your blog
• Tip: Some forum even allow you to insert your Adsense code for display your ads and make money too.

4. Participate in the forum. Say hello to forum member.

5. Very important, do not promote your blog immediately, do a few new thread to ask some questions and also to post some answers. That kick starts the social interaction with fellow forum members.

That’s about it. You will start seeing some traffic coming in. If you really want to see more traffic, create more new threads about new topic and you can increase your exposure for more traffic too.
