Ever since I started this eBusiness blog, my main purpose was to test the various SEO method and search engine optimization specialist’s technique using Wordpress. I did manage to improve search engine presence of my blog and pull in some search engine traffic.What did I do to improve the SEO ranking of my blog?
I have mentioned that I like Wordpress because it is a natural search engine optimization specialist. You can have many plugins you can activate on your blog to pull in natural search engine traffic.
I have installed a few Wordpress plugins to optimize my onpage SEO. For example, All in One SEO Pack Wordpress plugin helps me to insert the Meta-Title, Meta-Keywords and Meta-description of all my post relatively easily. I this is the most important search engine optimization you must have on Wordpress.
I have also installed Google Sitemap Generator and you can learn more about Google Sitemap submission on my earlier Google Sitemap submission video. Google has openly stated that sitemap is necessary to help Googlebot to index your blogs faster, this is 2nd important Wordpress SEO plugin you must have.
Once you have the right Wordpress plugin installed, you will need to have a tool to measure the traffic and where they are coming from. It is very critical that you know your visitors and what they like to see. That allows you to improve your content and also the layout for better surfing experience. You can register for Google Analytic and install a Google Analytics wordpress plugin that every post will have Google analytics code inserted.
Recently, I have also found a painful SEO mistake, I have corrected the error. Know what? I found out in these 2 days that I have having traffic coming from Live search engine now.
Let’s look at some Search Engine Optimization Result!
I have published 2 posts recently, one on best SEO tool and one on stumble traffic. They all have 2 millions over competition and I was ranked on #1 in just 3-4 days. That’s an amazing result that I have! I am pretty happy about it.
I started seeing this result after I have correct my painful search engine optimization mistake, so, one learning that I have, make sure you do not have keywords stuffing accidentally and do not repeat the SEO mistake that I made.
I am ranked on #1 on Google in less than 24 hours
What got me more excited is that I have just published a new post “89 Ping List for Wordpress” and I am ranked on #1 on Google in less than 24 hours despite a competition of 1.64 millions. That shows that Wordpress as a Natural Search Engine Optimization Specialist does work!
I am still experimenting and updating my strategy and result. Definitely I would love to share the result with you and also hear your feedback and comment.

You’ve done a good job of making wordpress SEO friendly. I wouldn’t get TOO excited about 4 and 5 word phrases. However, you are off to a great start. Keep it up!

I simply use the main Wordpress plugin in this experiment. The only changes I made was I corrected my silly SEO mistake as document in the article and I started seeing this great result.
My main learning is to make sure not keyword stuffing in the documents unintentionally!
