Are you working hard on SEO to pull organic traffic to your website? Building backlinks is the main challenge for regular SEO.
Have you thought of using Google Image Search?

I was reading a post at Pearsonified, know what, Chris managed to pull in 53% of his search traffic using Google search. Isn’t that an amazing result!
Though he commented that the traffic from Google Image does not convert so well, but what the hack? It still contribute to your overall traffic and traffic can help you to improve your Alexa ranking, the overall visitor volume, the pageviews, and finally, you can demand more on your advertisement!!!
It is still an excellent method to bring in traffic using Google Image Search!
Now, Question, how to SEO for Google Image?
5 Simple Steps for Google Image Search SEO
It is far less complicated to SEO on Google Image Search compared to regular Google Search. There is not offpage criteria for you to consider, you focus on mainly onpage SEO.
1. Name your image using your main keywords
2. Insert ALT tag using a sentense to describe your image, make sure you put your keywords within the ALT tag
3. Insert the Width attribute in Pixel within the img tag
4. Insert the Height attribute in Pixel within the img tag
5. Insert Title Tag within the img tag
It is that simple.
Here’s an example of my image using the Golden Gate Bridge. I will monitor the result and publish the search result in the next few days.
<img src=”http://www.kpebiz.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/golden_gate_bridge_at_night.jpg” alt=”Beautiful Golden Gate Bridge at Night” title=”Golden Gate Bridge at Night” height=”342″ width=”481″ />

One thing you left off is the paragraphs of text before and after the picture. They are very relevant to describing the picture. That’s why you’ll see unrelated images sometimes in Google’s image search.
