I have been a busy the last few days setting up some new website. Many people paid for a text link on a PR6 website in order to be indexed by Google. However, I do not have the budget and therefore I was testing some simple and FREE method to be indexed by Google.
I have read from some post that putting Adsense code on new website can get your sites indexed fast, I have tested this method but my conclusion was it is not working.
My latest result showed that my new sites were indexed by Google in 48 hours and I even have a long tail keyword phase appearing on the 1st page of Google. Wow, I am really excited about this result.
What do I do to be indexed by Google?
Here’s a detailed step by step guide for you if you like to be indexed by Google.
1. Submit Website to Google
There are some people argue that submitting to Google does not help much, but I still do it because it is fast and free.
2. Create a sitemap of your new website
Use the following tools to create sitemap of your new website: Site1 or Site2
3. Submit the sitemap using Google Webmaster tool.
Login to Google webmaster tool to create new profile for your new website. Add your sitemap into the profile.
4. Review or favourite your new site using StumbleUpon
This is critical because I have seen traffic coming using this method and also it helps to generate more backlinks as other people add the site to their Stumbleupon bookmarks.
5. Create backlinks on your existing websites
If you already have some existing website which is indexed by Google, add a link on your home to the new site. This helps to direct Google Bot to your new website. If you are new and do not have existing website, well, do some comment on some busy blogs.
6. Promote your new website on Hubpages and Squidoos
Hubpage and Squidoos are the secret weapon for SEO. Create a new page on Hubpages and new lens on Squidoos, put at least 2 links to your new site on each page. You can then leave it to Hubpages and Squidoos for doing SEO.
7. Create a Wordpress Blog in a sub-directory
Create a wordpress blog in the sub-directory and make sure you put some links to your new website on the main homepage. You can also put some other new website on the blogroll as well.
8. Add Ping Services into the Wordpress Blog
Refer to top ping lists and add more ping services into your ping list on Wordpress blog.
9. Create 2 New Posts in the Blog and Ping
Create 2 new posts in the blog, one scheduled for immediate publish and another one published 24 hours later. The best part of Wordpress is that it automatically ping technorati and it helps to pull Google Bot to visit your new site.
10. Final step: Submit your homepage and some inner page to Digg.
You can monitor your Awstate and usually you can see Google Bot visits your new site in less than 24 hours and you can have your website indexed by Google Search Engine in 48 hours.
Doing all these 10 steps may take you approximately 1 hour or 1.5 hours, and your new site can be indexed by Google in 48 hours. I would rather do this instead of paying $100 for a PR6 backlink.
I think adding a ping service to your blog is the most important on that list. I don’t know about submitting your site to Google. Are they responsive on that?
USEO, I doubt submitting site to Google can pull the search traffic so far as well, but I am just recommend to do that for peace of mind. Anyway, it does not take more than 1 minute to do that
THANKS A LOT. THIS INFO WAS VERY HELPFUL. KEEP IT UP.
